This Sunday (17th Feb) from 10am to 3pm, Friends of Brockley and Ladywell Cemeteries are having another volunteer work day to clear some of the saplings which disturb the eco system of the cemeteries as well as harming the graves themselves. Tools will be available but people are welcome to bring their own if they are more comfortable. Please try and come down and tell your friends. The meeting point is at the chapel and there will be someone there from 10am to 3pm (and hopefully a flask of tea!).Mike will be there but unfortunately I probably won't be able to make it.
PS: I was a little premature last week in saying that the volunteer work day in Brockey & Ladywell Cemeteries was last weekend, so apologies if anybody turned up last week to find no one there!
